The one book I’ve read by Erin Bartels wasn’t one of my favorites. I might give her another chance with this one, though. It sounds interesting!

I’ve heard of Bartels many times, but have never read any of her books until this one. The setting and synopsis drew me. I liked it, but it was heavy. Kind of really hurt my heart. But I do recommend this book. 😀

My first line this week is from Confessions to a Stranger by Danielle Grandinetti:

I can almost always tell whether I will like a book or not by the first line. Glad you enjoyed this one.
