About the Book

Few things are as annoying to me as an attractive, twenty-something woman with a good job and a solid group of friends who complains she can’t get a date. I am not that girl. Sure, I fit all the parameters, but the difference is, I don’t want to date. At all. In fact, I never complain about my love life. Given my history, it would be hypocritical.

I am LOVING this story. The characters are excellent. The dates are so bad it’s truly hilarious. I’m laughing. I’m shaking my head. Man, this book has me feeling all the feels. If you have not heard of this book, I highly recommend adding it to your TBR today! And, definitely check back later for my full review.

I already read this and it is unique.
Your book looks great! Happy reading!

  3. Sounds like a fun book! The cover is adorable!

I’m sharing the first line of The Jane Austen Society on my blog today. I just started reading If For Any Reason by Courtney Walsh. Here’s the first line of chapter 1: “Emily Ackerman hummed when she was nervous.”

  4. This looks like another great book! I wonder if the dates are as bad as some of the ones I was on during my time of on-line dating. I’m adding it to my TBR list. Mission Hollywood is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I’ll need to stop reading your blog because my bookshelf and TBR list is already out of control! I hope you have a nice weekend!

    1. The dates are SO awful. On the dedication page, the author thanks all the women on her FB group who’ve shared their horror stories. The dates in this book are influenced by real stories. Makes me enjoy the book more. I’ve definitely been laughing at this book.

And, I’m sorry I’m growing your TBR pile. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. That does sound fun! On my blog I’m sharing the first line from a Mary Connealy book, Woman of Sunlight. Here’s the next line:

“Her face was peppered with half-healed blisters left from having chicken pox, but she resisted the urge to slap her hands over her scabby cheeks.”

    Happy Friday!
