Welcome to another 2023 Reading Challenge post!

For the 2023 Reading Challenge I need to read a book by an author I have not read before, so my goal is to read Assisting My Brother’s Best Friend by Judy Corry.

Amazon ๐ Goodreads
For the Posse Reading Challenge I need to read a book with flowers on the cover or with a heroine with a floral name, so my goal is to read Fairest of Heart by Karen Witemeyer.

To read 17 books and have at least half of them be from Revell or another Christian publisher.

Love your goals. Is 17 your typical monthly goal?

Yes. In order to meet my annual goal, I need to read 17 per month. I try to read more than that, but itโs my goal.

Oh you know, read ALL the books, LOL! I have 5 ARCs, at least one blog tour, I think two, three books for challenges, one buddy read (my first ever)…plus finish the pile of library books I have had out forever.

You definitely have your work cut out for you, but I faith you will make a great dent in your goals. What is a buddy read though? I’ve not heard of that before.

A buddy read is where you and someone else read the same book at the same time. I have never done it before, but I am a part of a group and we said we would do one this month…I still don’t have all the info so we will see.

Cool! And then when you’re done reading do you have a discussion with your buddy? Like a book club mtg?

It’s all done in a group chat.

I have been keeping goals more general, otherwise I feel too much pressure and reading becomes a job instead of something fun. But I REALLY have to get going on posting more reviews.

That’s my biggest issue…keeping this blog from feeling like a job. It gets job-like real quick, unfortunately. Good luck with your future reviews!
