The Dugout
by Emily Childs
There is silver glitter in my car. More than the glitter, the seats smell like strawberries and too much cologne. The smell wouldn’t be much to complain about, but the glitter is another thing.

Iβm late but wanted to share anyway. Iβm reading THREE COWBOYS AND A BABY by British author Kate Pearce. βNoah Harding walked toward the unknown car that had just pulled up in front of the barn and waited for whoever was inside to reveal themselves.β

My first line comes from In Spotlight and Shadows from Rachel Scott Mc Daniel:
Chapter 1 Elise January, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
History didnβt haphazardly repeat itself in the chapters of Elise Malvernβs life.

I hope you’re enjoying this one! Today I’m reading Forged in Love by Mary Connealy. The first line is: “August 1870, Pine Valley, Wyoming, Near the Wind River Mountains ~ A bullet slammed into the side of the stagecoach carrying Mariah Stover, her pa, and her older brother.” I hope you have a wonderful week!
