Month in Review — January 2023

Welcome to my first ever Month-in-Review post!

In December 2022, I decided to get organized. I had lost control over my reading and blogging schedule. It only took me 5 1/2 years of doing this blog to get to this point; but, whatever, I’m finally organized. LOL!

I’m really impressed by my new-found organization. I’ve posted more this January than my previous Januarys, according to my WordPress stats I’m interacting with more people (YAY!), and I don’t feel overwhelmed. In fact, I feel like my creativity is coming back and it is exciting!

What has also been good this month is that I have been practicing saying “NO” and it has freed me. I feel like I can do some of the things I’ve been meaning to for a long time. It’s really nice. I should have said “NO” a long time ago.

Here is what I’ve posted this month:

Happy New Year to you and yours from me and mine!!!
My StoryGraph Stats as of 1/28/23

So, that’s my January! How about yours?

Did you meet any monthly goals you had set for yourself?

  1. Bravo Nicole!
I’m behind on my books goal because I overbooked myself. But the nooks are in the house, so on to reading! I will catch up. I got Dangerous Beauty on kindle because of your review.
Other goals: I took up the sleeves of a new corduroy jacket because my arms are shirt. Now to do a few other sewing projects.
    Happy reading!

  2. Awesome Nicole! I enjoyed seeing the “face” behind the blog and your lovely family! I am glad your new organization is working for you! Yay for saying no so you can say yes to something better 🙂 I love being able to interact with lots of bloggers through this avenue as well. Have a great week!
