Uhm, I don’t understand time. How is January 2023 almost done?! Can someone please explain why time feels like it’s passing by lately at supersonic rates?
Anyway, welcome to my very first 2023 Reading Challenge Review post!
Just to re-cap, here are the two challenges I’m participating in this year:

The Posse Reading Challenge 2023 created by Karen Witemeyer
For the month of January, my goal was to read two books for these two challenges: The Billionaire’s Nanny by Elizabeth Maddrey and Dangerous Beauty by Melissa Koslin. Both novels qualify under the 2023 Reading Challenge — both released in 2022 that I was not able to get to. As far as the Posse Challenge goes, there is no “NEW” on the cover of either book, but both authors are new-to-me authors, so I think that counts.
I was successful this month in getting both books read! I feel good getting off to a successful start on both of these challenges. Next up, February goals! But first, here are the reviews for both books in case you might be interested in either of these really good stories:

QI read for Possee challenge: Red: The New Rule Book by Joy Ohagwu
Still need to read my book from 2022 which will be The Pearl of Great Price by Shaen Layle

I’ve not heard of the book by Layle. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for sharing, Paula!

I hope to get to a post like this in the next few days…although I tend to let the month end and do a monthly wrap-up…always trying to squeeze in one more book 🙂

I get that! I always try to get one more in, too. LOL.

I am behind on my goals because I was in MD doing childcare. But I am keeping up with the launches that I promised to help with, so there is that. I hope to catch up some now that I am home again.

Life happens! Good luck catching up, and that’s great news about keeping up with the launches. Those are what stress me out the most to be honest.

They stress me, too, but I try to keep in mind that I am one person helping another person and I will do my best regardless of other life stresses. I haven’t been as active as I wanted to be in the latest launch, but I haven’t just done nothing, so I will be content with what I can do and hope that it’s enough.

WOOHOO!! So glad you got your books read. I wanted to do another challenge, but decided I better not over-do it. After all, this is the year I say “no”. LOL!! I read and adored A Dangerous Beauty, and have put the other on my TBR list!
