  1. Loved that book to pieces. My emotions were right 5here with Mara! Phenomenal!

My first line us from Prince of Spies by Elizabeth Camden:
    January 1902
Marianne ventured farther onto the frozen river despite the people warning her against it.

    1. I agree, Paula. It’s such a good book. Mara really weaved her way into my heart.
Thank you for sharing! I hope you have a wonderful weekend full of fun reading time!

  2. I absolutely loved this book, even though it made me cry a lot. Here is my first line from UNKNOWN THREAT by Lynn H. Blackburn: “Luke Powell’s head throbbed as he parked his sedan in the empty lot and glared into the nearby trees.”

  3. “On behalf of the Democratic Campaign Committee of Kings County,” declared the tall, fair-haired Scotsman behind the podium at center stage, his powerful brogue rising dramatically over the cheers of the assembled throng, ” it is my great hone and privilege to welcome the former President of Princeton University, the current governor of New Jersey, and the future President of the United States, the honorable Woodrow Wilson.” – The Women’s March – Jennifer Chiaverini – releases in July – Sorry this is so long. 😀

  4. Happy Friday! My first line is from “Storing Up Trouble” by Jen Turano:

“The truth of the matter was this – she, Miss Beatrix Waterbury, had been banished from New York, and all because she’d had the great misfortune of landing herself in jail… twice.”
