Welcome to His Encouragement Thursday! I don’t know about you, but Thursdays are my struggle day of the week. By Thursday, I have already been working hard at school and at home, and I just wish it would hurry up and be Friday already. LOL! I definitely need a little extra Jesus time on Thursdays.
Trisha, my blogger friend at Joy of Reading, and I decided on calling this post “His Encouragement” because our real source of peace, strength, and security can only come from Jesus Christ. He and He alone is our constant! We pray and hope that these Thursday posts become a real encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!
Today’s Thursday Encouragement:
For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.
Jeremiah 31:25 (ESV)

It has been a really long week, after a really long month, after a really long school semester. We have six school days left until our Christmas break and I am struggling to cross the finish line. I am weary to my soul and so bone-tired I feel I could sleep for a week straight.
I know I am not alone in this exhaustion. I think most everyone in America right now is absolutely tired. 2020 has been no joke.
My message this week is going to be short and sweet — God is our cure for exhaustion. In Jeremiah 31:25, God tells us that He WILL satisfy and replenish tired and languishing souls. It’s a present-tense verse because God never stops satisfying and replenishing. That’s pretty amazing.
Dear reader, if you feel weighed down by this world, like responsibilities are crushing you, and like you could sleep for a 100 years then turn to God. He’s waiting to satisfy and replenish you right now!!!
NOW, IT’S YOUR TURN!
WHAT BIBLICAL VERSE IS ENCOURAGING YOU TODAY?

Thankyou for that Nicole.
I’ve been putting off my Christmas cards because I don’t know what to say.
Sorry you are struggling. Praying you make it through those six days and recoup with your family over the holidays. Blessings!

It’s been a year hasn’t it Paula? I wouldn’t know what to say either this year. I just know God hasn’t forgotten us and He’s got everything under control. Even if it doesn’t feel like it.
I appreciate you and your prayers!!!! ❤
