About the Book

Chief of Police Everett Sawyer stood over the body they’d just dug up in the old rail yard north of the city.

Oh. My. Goodness!!! Am I SOOOOO excited to read this book. I have loved this series so much, and have been highly anticipating Dead End. Let me just say, the prologue to this book is FANTASTIC. It gripped me from the first line and is an excellent way to begin this murder mystery. I can’t wait to dive further into the story.

Definitely check back soon for my full review!

  2. We are reading buddies today! I’m almost done.
I’ll share the first line of Chapter 3.

Kaely could only stare at the police chief, trying to understand what he’d just said.

  3. Happy Friday!

Wow! Dead end sounds like an insanely gripping story, and I’m looking forward to hearing what you end up thinking about it.

My first line on my blog this week comes from The Happy Camper by Melody Carlson:

“Dillon Michaels was fed up-but it wasn’t with dinner.”

Hope you have a great rest of your weekend 🙂

  4. Definitely on my TBR list! I’m reading THE LAST OF THE MOON GIRLS by Barbara Davis. First Line: “A body that has been submerged in water undergoes a different kind of decomposition: harsher in some ways, kinder in others—or so I’ve been told.” I hope that you are staying safe and healthy!

  5. Happy Friday! My first line is from “A Latte Difficulty” by Angela Ruth Strong:

“Black is a good color for coffee, not bridesmaid dresses.”

  6. Happy Friday! On my blog, I’m featuring A Love Most Worthy by Sandra Ardoin. Here, I will share my current read from the Seven Brides of South Dakota Series by Kari Trumbo. This is from Book 1, Dreams in Deadwood. The first line in Chapter 7—which is where I’m currently at—is “Boom drove Aiden to the outskirts of Deadwood, then bypassed the town and went around to a small area with what seemed like endless rows of tiny decrepit homes.” Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. I’m currently reading Mission Hollywood by Michelle Keener. I’m on chapter 29 so I’ll share that first line. “Lily spent New Year’s Day at home, while her dad and Noah went to the church to start work on preparations for the block party.” I hope you have a great weekend of reading!

  8. I need to get myself caught up on this series!

Today on my blog I shared the first line from Before I Called You Mine by Nicole Deese but I just started reading The Joy of Falling by Lindsay Harrel so I’ll share the first line from chapter 3 here: “Few places reminded her more of Brent than the Saturday-morning farmers market.” Hope you have a great weekend with some quality reading time 🙂
