His Encouragement #105

CollageMaker_20180228_162151023.jpgWelcome to His Encouragement Thursday! I don’t know about you, but Thursdays are my struggle day of the week. By Thursday, I have already been working hard at school and at home, and I just wish it would hurry up and be Friday already. LOL! I definitely need a little extra Jesus time on Thursdays.

Trisha, my blogger friend at Joy of Reading, and I decided on calling this post “His Encouragement” because our real source of peace, strength, and security can only come from Jesus Christ. He and He alone is our constant! We pray and hope that these Thursday posts become a real encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement comes from:

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 (ESV)

For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with Him.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today I am grateful for so many things.

I am grateful for God, for His Son, Jesus Christ, and for the Holy Spirit. I am grateful God wants a relationship with me. I am especially grateful that God has not destined me to wrath, but to salvation!

I am also exceptionally grateful for my family, for my friends, and for the many, many blessings God has bestowed upon me.

Thank You, Yahweh, for blessing me with our relationship, Your guidance, Your forgiveness and mercy, and Your love! Praise be to God!!!

    1. Aw! Thank you. Thanksgiving here was unique. We live in the high desert in So Cal. We got over 7 inches of snow. It was amazing! Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving too. 😊
