Always Look Twice
Uncommon Justice #2
by Elizabeth Goddard
About the Book
Monday, 7:35 P.M.
Bridger-Teton National Forest, Wyoming
Harper Reynolds inched forward, hoping she hadn’t made a mistake in coming there.
This is the first novel I’ve read by Goddard. So far I am enjoying it. I don’t gravitate towards the Romantic Suspense genre too often, but this novel’s premise sounded interesting. I’m about 60% completed with this story, so check back soon to read my full review!

“The herd of elk appeared out of nowhere on a dirt road outside of Peregrine, Idaho.” BLUE INK by Tess Thompson. This is my first book by this author, but the back cover of this one sounds fascinating.

“Welcome to Smythe Orchard,” I said, smileing brightly at the group of holiday shoppers stepping off a shuttle bus. “I’m Winona Mae Montgomery, but you can call me Winnie. I live here on the farm with my granny, who you all know as Granny Smythe.”

I’m not usually a fan of suspence either, but occasionally I like a good one! I’m sharing the first line from Stitches In Time by Suzanne Woods FIsher on my blog this week. I’m on chapter 4 so I’ll share the first line of that chapter here. “Later in the week, Luke drove by the Bent ‘N Dent one afternoon and slowed the horse.” I hope you have a nice weekend and lots of reading time!

On my blog, I’m featuring The Elusive Miss Ellison by Carolyn Miller. Here, I will share the first line in Chapter Nine of my current read, It All Started at the Masquerade by Janice Cole Hopkins. Melanie awoke to find Gemona sitting beside her bed watching her.

Sorry I’m late to visiting this week. On my blog this week I shared the first line from Memories of Glass by Melanie Dobson but I just started reading Coral by Sara Ella so I’ll share the first line from chapter 2 here: “This is not my home.” Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
