I’m not a big reader of Western fiction. I don’t hate it, I just don’t gravitate towards it as much. But when I read the synopsis of this book, I knew I had to read it, and boy am I glad I did. West for the Black Hills is an excellent read that I highly recommend. There isn’t a dull moment in this book. And, the main character is very well written. If you have not heard of this novel, I implore you to put it on your TBR pile. It’s definitely worth the read.
