Christmas in Winter Hill

About the Book

Krista Galloway didn’t usually second-guess herself, but as she slowed down the U-Haul truck on the outskirts of Winter Hill, she was assaulted with some serious doubts.

I’ve been there! I’ve been walking tall and sure, then, out of nowhere, doubt falls on me like a gazillion pounds of bricks. It’s no fun! I’m not sure why Krista is second-guessing herself, but I can totally appreciate the feelings.

I’ve heard such awesome things about this sweet little story. I am super excited to get to read it!

  1. I adore that cover! Makes me want to bundle up and go window shopping… and I loath layering clothes. LOL

I’m sharing Kimberly Rose Johnson’s Edge of Truth on my blog. Here, I’ll share, the first line from the book I’m currently reading, Christmas on a Mission by Hannah R. Conway:

It’s hard to drive with shoeboxes blocking the rear-view mirror.

  3. Happy Friday! The book I’m featuring on my blog this week is a nonfiction by Ariniko O’Meara, A City Saunter Story. Here’s the first line to Chapter 40: “Whatever you do, don’t walk Baker Street!” I read the message three times. As much as I knew my friend meant well, I felt she wasn’t fully grasping my project.
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Beautiful cover! Over on my blog this week, I’m sharing the first line from Jody Hedlund’s newest YA book, Foremost.
Here I’ll share the first line of a book I’m nearly finished reading, Aiming for Love by Mary Connealy.
“Josephine Nordegren floated through the woodland silent as a ghost.”

  5. Happy Weekend! My first line is from “Least Expected” by Autumn Macarthur:

“Maggie Golding ran her fingers through her multi-coloured hair, planted her hands on her hips, and took a step back to examine the latest window display she’d created for Pettett and Mayfields London department store.”
