I’ve never read a novel by Karen Witemeyer I didn’t like. In fact, I’m not sure Karen is capable of writing a bad story. A Worthy Pursuit is one of the first novels I ever read by Karen, and to this day I remember it as if I read it yesterday.

I absolutely love the play on Dime Novels that takes place in this story. So clever! This book is also filled with excellent adventure, there are no breaks…just action, action, action. I found the characters to be well crafted and highly endearing, especially the children. And, when it came to the end, I was very sad — I wanted to keep reading! This is definitely a book I highly recommend.

About the Book
