The Number of Love

The Codebreakers #1

by Roseanna M. White

The Number of Love

About the Book

Old Admiralty Building

London, England

25 September 1917

The numbers marched across the page in a glory all their own.

I have loved every Roseanna M. White novel I have ever read. White is one of the most brilliant historical fiction novelists of our time. I’m 70% of the way through The Number of Love and it may be White’s best yet. I am thoroughly enjoying my time with this story. If you have not read a novel by White yet, I highly, highly recommend that you do so immediately. You will not be sorry that you did.

Check back Sunday, June 23, 2019, for my full review of this outstanding novel!

  1. I’m a longtime Roseanna White fan, and I think this is her best yet.

Today I’m sharing from Entanglements by Rachel McMillan on my blog, one of the novellas in Finding Ever After. Here’s the first line from the next story in the collection, Twice Upon a Time by Ashley Clark:

“Under no circumstances would she fall for him again.”

  2. I’ve seen quite a lot about this book. I need to check it out.

I shared from Amanda Barratt’s My Dearest Dietrich on my blog. Here is the first line from Outbreak by Davis Bunn — “Avery Madison was awakened at eleven minutes past midnight by a most unexpected call.”

  3. Just finishing Ever Faithful by Karen Barnett – Elsie closed her eyes for a moment and breathed in the steamy air, imagining she stood beside Grand Prismatic Springs instead of the massive laundry boiler in the back of Mammoth Hot Springs Lodge.

  4. I just read this one recently too but not sharing my full review until the 26th. Can’t wait to see your review 🙂

Today on my blog I shared the first line from The Express Bride by Kimberley Woodhouse but I’m just getting into Yours Truly, Thomas by Rachel Fordham so I’ll share the first line from that book here: “After letting an involuntary squeal escape, Penny pulled the yellow papers closer and pressed her lips to them.” Hope you have a wonderful weekend with plenty of reading time!

My first line is from The Golden Bride by Kimberley Woodhouse:

No matter how much he thought he deserved to be one, Olivia Brighton’s husband of six weeks was not a king.
