About the Book

Once upon a time, Melody Johansson had believed in happily ever afters.

I am a new fan of Carla Laureano’s. I had recently read Starstruck, my first Carla Laureano read, when Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe review sign-ups were announced at Celebrate Lit. I knew I had to read this book. I’m about 25% of the way into this story, and I am LOVING it. I can already say that I highly recommend this novel!

    I’m currently reading Sarah Sundin’s latest book “The Sky Above Us” I’ll share here the first line from Chapter 30 (because that’s where I am at this moment).
