Winning Miss Winthrop (Regency Brides: A Promise of Hope #1)
by: Carolyn Miller
About the Book
Gloucestershire
May 1816
The deeply blue Gloucestershire sky brought comfort as Catherine Winthrop emerged from the tenant farmhouse.
Carolyn Miller is a FANTASTIC Regency-era storyteller. If you have not read her novels, I highly recommend them all. I am 3/4 of the way through with Winning Miss Winthrop, and I LOVE it. The writing is superb, the characters are beautifully written, and the tension between the hero and heroine is palpable. Oh, it’s so good!!! Definitely be on the lookout for my upcoming review for this book. I’m going to include a giveaway, too!
Check out my reviews for Carolyn’s first series, Regency Brides: A Legacy of Grace.

Happy Friday!
My FLF is from Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. “Three men watched intently as peculiar events occurred, one right after the other, on opposite sides of the globe.”
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter! 🙂

I am super excited to read Carolyn Miller’s new book and it’s next on my list! This weekend I’m reading A Borrowed Dream by Amanda Cabot which is what I’m sharing on my blog and what I’ll share here “It was only a dream.”
Happy Easter!

Thanks for sharing this book! On my blog I am sharing from A Loyal Heart by Jody Hedlund, but here I will share from a new addition to my TBR pile, The Weaver’s Daughter by Sarah E. Ladd. “Alarm’s menacing sting pricked Kate Dearborn’s consciousness and hurried her steps.” Happy Friday!

My frist paragraph is from: Life on the Porcelain Edge by C.E. Hilbert
Tessa Tarrington’s life was in the toilet.
Job? FIRED
Dad? HEART ATTACK
Current residence? CHILDHOOD BEDROOM
Love life? NON-EXISTENT.
Her life was swirling in the bowl, just waiting for the ultimate flush.
It’s humorous but deals with hard issues.
Happy Good Friday and Easter blessings!

I shared a different first line on my blog, but here’s the first line of my current read: “Aven peered down at the letter again, noted the address written in Aunt Dorothe’s hand, then looked back to the wooden sign that was staked into the ground.” -my ARC of Sons of Blackbird Mountain by Joanne Bischof
Happy Good Friday!
