As Easy As Riding A Bike is a very sweet and engaging novella. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this book, and I highly recommend it. It definitely left me with a BIG smile on my face. And, it is the prefect book to read to keep one in the Valentine’s Day spirit.

    I’m sharing the first line from April Gardner’s latest release, Love the War Woman, on my blog, but right now I’m reading a romantic suspense called ‘Panama Deception’ by Jennifer Haynie. Here’s the first line:

    “He was next.”

    1. Thanks for sharing! “He was next” could be ominous, or he could be standing in line at the DMV. I like the ambiguity. Makes me want to check the book out!

  8. That sounds like a sweet read!

    I’m not actually in the middle of any fiction book (I’m reading like four non-fictions right now), but the book closest me is “A Lady Unrivaled” by Roseanna White (I read it in the beginning of the year and my mom just returned it to me and it’s not made it back to my shelves yet). It’s worth a mention so here’s the first line: “Lady Ella Myerston knew more than everyone thought she did–and more than they thought she should.”

    Here are my first lines since I can’t ever seem to limit myself to one –
