Rule of Law

34570000

“They descended like vultures from the C-17 transport plane, silhouettes against a quarter moon in a tar-black sky.”

Rule of Law is set to release on September 5, 2017. This story is highly action-packed, engaging, slightly terrifying, and eye-opening. I cannot recommend this novel enough! Add the title to your Goodreads To-Read list and put it on your Amazon wishlist! You will not be sorry that you did!

Check back here at The Christian Fiction Girl on September 16 for my full review of this amazing novel.

Now it is your turn! Grab the book you are currently reading, open to chapter one, and post the first sentence (or second sentence) in the comments below.

  1. I’m currently reading, Embracing Hope by Janell Butler Wojtowicz. Here’s the first line:

Drew McKinley twisted he gold wedding band around and around his finger then made a tight fist.

I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it over the weekend.

I’ve got the first line from Ronie Kendig’s “Crown of Souls” – Tox! 😍 – on my blog today, but I’m going to share the first line from the book I just finished reading, Tamera Alexander’s “To Wager Her Heart”:

Alexandra Jamison had always wanted a sister.

  3. Looking forward to reading this one eventually. I keep hearing so many good things about this book.

I’m sharing about “The Day the Angels Fell” by Shawn Smucker on my blog today, but I’m going to share the first line from the book I’m currently reading, “Under Fire” by Linda Shenton Matchell.

“Ruth Brown swiped the perspiration beads off her upper lip as her’s sister’s vacant coffin dropped into the ground with a dull thud.”

      1. I’m only on chapter three so far and reading this for a Celebrate Lit blog tour, but I’m loving it so far. Definitely has a sense of mystery & suspense.

  4. My first line on my blog is from Lori Benton’s newest release, ‘Many Sparrows’. So as not to spoil the surprise of that line, I’ll share a first line of a book my son is reading.

  8. The grandest adventure of her life waited on the other side of these tracks. That or the most humiliating debacle she’d ever created Either way, there was no going back. From Head in the Clouds by Karen Witemeyer.

Wow that book looks so good, I put it on my growing TBR monster pile!
