Oh my goodness, it is already August. Where did July go? This month has already proven to be quite a full month. Monday is back to school for me. This year, I will be teaching four AP English Lit and Comp courses (12th grade) and two English 9 Honors courses. This year will be all about figuring out time management…if you know anything about these kinds of courses, you know I will be grading, grading, grading!
And, this year my daughter starts kindergarten!!! She actually begins on Wednesday. I am nervous, but super excited. We are entering a brand new phase with my kiddo. She is thrilled to make new friends and learn new things.
I began First Lines Friday (#FirstLineFridays) just this past Friday. Could not be more excited to be a part of this group of amazing and supportive women. I hope you will join me Friday mornings for my First Line Friday posts!
And, of course I will be busy reading! My TBR list is a mile long now. LOL! Here are some of the novels I hope to review this month:
- The Captivating Lady Charlotte by Carolyn Miller (currently reading, and currently loving it!)
- Jane of Austin by Hillary Manton Lodge
- Then There Was You by Kara Isaacs
- The Captain’s Daughter by Jennifer Delamere
- Hold the Light by April McGowan
- A Christmas Promise by Tamera Lynn Kraft
- Rule of Law by Randy Singer
- The Two of Us by Victoria Bylin
I know this is a large list, but I am hopeful that I can make a good dent in this pile. What about you? What are your reading goals this month? Let me know in the comments section below!
