The Elusive Miss Ellison (2017), by Carolyn Miller, is the first novel in her Regency Brides: A Legacy of Grace series. This novel can be purchased in all forms including eBook, and is roughly 304 pages (depending on the form you purchase). With a full-time job and a five-year old, I was able to devour this book in three days. I give this novel 5 STARS. It is a clean historical romance.
Oh my goodness! Where do I begin? This novel is beyond anything I imagined. I have to admit that when I first picked up this novel to read, I came at it with very little expectation. I was thoroughly and happily surprised by how excellent a story this book is. Ms. Miller is a TALENTED author.
The characters are so exquisitely written, the plot completely engaging, and the wit! The wit is so well executed. I love this story, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-written Regency-Era story. This novel is a page-turner; when I had to put it down, I was sad to do so. I am very excited for June 27th to come because book 2 in this series will be available.
I cannot say enough positive things about this book. It is so good! Ms. Miller is a fantastic writer, and I hope she will continue writing amazing stories for years and years to come!
Book two in this series is titled The Captivating Lady Charlotte, and is due out in stores on June 27, 2017.
The Christian Fiction Girl 
Okay. So Romance novels are not necessarily a book I would pay any attention to. However, when my wife kept giggling, and somtimes laughing out loud, I could not resist asking her what was going on. After bringing me up to speed on the story, she proceeded to read a few pages to me…. I was hooked. If she read more while I was at work, I would have her catch me up to speed again, with book in hand, so that she could read the best parts word for word. It was a memorable experience as we laughed and cried together through this wonderful novel.
